The upright, 12-15" stems bounce pretty purple ball-shaped blooms above arching, relaxed, Kelly-green foliage. A deeper purple central stripe accents the lavender star-shaped flowers clustered in these whimsical spheres.

'Chivette' only looks dainty, but this tough Allium is cold hardy to Zone 4.
