These well-behaved sedges create sturdy, compact, and uniform mounds of glossy blades available in various sizes and colors. The subtle flowers on these oshimensis types develop into interesting bristle-like seed heads.

Hardy in Zones 6-9 EverColor® 'grasses' are designed for partly shady areas but can tolerate sun. They typically stay evergreen throughout most winters. These variegated sedges are excellent low-maintenance options for containers, edging, or ground cover. They thrive best in moist, well-drained soil (but not soggy conditions).
