How sweet the sight! This lovely bicolor's namesake hymn, widely associated with the Civil War, was actually written before the Revolution by an English slave-trader turned abolitionist and minister. Among the world’s most recognized tunes, it’s sung an estimated 10,000,000 times a year!

Phlox subulata ‘Amazing Grace’ “Moss phlox”

Similarly, the species P. subulata is among the most familiar spring-blooming plants you can offer. ‘Amazing Grace’ features pristine white petals kissed with lipstick-red dots at their bases, forming a halo around the center.

P. subulata keeps a low profile, just 4 – 6” tall. Hardy in Zones 2 – 9.

Schizachyrium ‘Blue Heaven’ (‘MinnblueA’ PP17310)

Deep blue blades with a tinge of burgundy take on a sunset spectrum of red, pink, purple and orange in autumn. A sturdy, erect variety bred in Minnesota, so you know it can handle your winter.

Height 3 – 4’. Hardy in Zones 3 – 9.

Bring a little heaven down to earth. Slip some celestial sensations into your perennial offering. They come in liners from Emerald Coast Growers – the easy choice!
